Drat! I have a
cold. I felt it coming on last
night and was hoping it was just allergies, but alas, this morning, when I woke
up, there was phlegm galore! And I
am a wee bit sore in the legs and lower back from yesterday’s Insanity
workout. Ouch!
I made it through day #2 of Insanity, with some
modifications, of course, but I did it.
Candi, the cruise director, used to be a physical fitness
coach/trainer/instructor/etc. and is a great motivator to keep me going . . .
Arte Diem performed their shows again tonight, and once
again, Wednesdays proved to be a great night for them! They incorporated many of the
suggestions I gave them and the show flowed better. Once again, standing ovations. They’re such a talented group, and so gracious and kind.
OK, by 8pm, I could barely walk – my legs were OK . . .
sure, my calves were sore, but it’s the lower left side of my back. If you’ve ever pulled your back, where
standing up straight is a challenge . . . well, that’s where I was tonight. By the time I crawled into bed at
8:40pm (yes, that early – trying to kill this cold as quickly as possible), it
was a challenge to just get in and out of it . . . not to mention the chore
that was taking off shoes and socks!
OY! Thank goodness for a
little glass of wine and two episodes of THE GOLDEN GIRLS! After that, I was ready for a deep
sleep, to which I drifted off around 9:30pm and slept until 8:00am the next
morning!
