THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2012

Because of one of our gymnasts being out of commission this week, we had to juggle the performance schedule around.  In addition, since the understudy contingency plan hadn’t been provided (until now, due to the gymnast being out), we had to cancel this week’s performances of BOLLYWOOD.  So, tonight, we presented a “Vocal Variety Show” featuring the 4 production cast singers, Margie Hobbs (the band master), Ruby Monserate (one of the cruise staff), and the show band.  With one rehearsal in the afternoon to put it together, it ended up being a FANTASTIC evening of music.  We only did a 7pm show, and I wish I had taken pictures . . . Juanito, the lighting technician on board did a phenomenal job lighting each singer, to enhance the mood, and Tim, the sound technician on board mixed the music beautifully.  It was “on the fly,” but boy, as an evening of entertainment, it truly flew!  BRAVO to all!
