Bye bye “THE V-SHOW,” and hello “PURE VARIETY.” Yup, a name change. And I honestly like the new name
better. To me, THE V-SHOW sounded
like it was a show about . . . well . . . um . . . lady parts! And PURE VARIETY has a nice ring to
it. We received these lovely new
marquee posters yesterday, when in Tampa.
They were a bit too large for the marquee openings, so I had a bit of
fun with a razor blade and a straight edge. Tonight’s two performances were once again well received,
and I think this is such a fun way to start off the week, as far as
entertainment is concerned. At the
end, the cast exits through the aisles in the house, so on their way out of the
theater, guests are able to meet cast members, which adds a nice touch. And yes, I know the poster is
grammatically incorrect . . . I pointed it out, but it’s December and there’s
no money left in the budget at this time of year . . . ah well.
