TUESDAY, JANUARY 22, 2013

Well the sunny skies are gone.  It’s grey in Roatan, Honduras, though it’s still warm.

It took two and a half months, but I finally took some photos of Roatan.  These are right at the dock.  I always found the air control tower on a hillside rather odd and slightly frightening, until Dad pointed out the airstrip down on level ground, by the water’s edge.

Tonight we had dinner at La Cucina, the Italian restaurant.  Wow!  Is that delicious!  I think it’s one of my two favorites . . . it might actually be my favorite.  The jury is still out on it.

The Second City cast was supposed to perform its main stage show tonight; however, one of the cast members is ill, so we did some last minute scheduling changes yesterday.  Tonight, Jocka and Maria, the new aerial/adage couple performed their act, and The Second City will be on Thursday.  We attended the 9:15pm performance of Jocka & Maria, then headed to the Spinnaker Lounge for Dancing with the Dawn Stars.
