MERRY CHRISTMAS!
This morning, any members of the cruise staff who wanted to
were able to be a part of a white elephant gift exchange. That’s where anyone who participates
buys a gift under a certain dollar amount and puts it into the mix. Everyone participating draws a
number. Number one chooses and
opens a gift. Number two may
either “steal” number one’s gift, or choose and open another, wrapped gift. It goes on down the line until the last
person. While there were only 6 of
us who participated, it was lots of fun.
We had some baked goods and such too. It was a fun way to start the day.
Tonight at 7pm and 9pm, we performed our “Holiday
Extravaganza at Sea.” This was the
holiday show that was put together over the past few weeks and included the
Production Cast, the Show Band, Margie Hobbs and Nathaniel Reed (piano bar
entertainers), and Ruby Monserate (a member of the Cruise Staff). It was a fantastic show and the guests
loved it. The finale was “White
Christmas,” where it “snowed” over the audience. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday.
Later that night, Candi and I passed through the Grand Atrium and had our photo taken . . . clearly the crew member who took it had a bit too much eggnog!
