This morning, Chuck Helberg
passed away. Chuck was the father
of Michele Helberg, one of my dear friends (and roommates) from college. Chuck was like a second father to me
during our college years. I have
so many fond memories of him, with other folks, and without. Some of my fondest memories are of
chatting with him at the Helbergs’ kitchen table when nobody else was
around. He was a wonderful man –
so kind, caring, and supportive of all of the Fredonia “theater kids.” He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace, Chuck!
